Office Manager

Duties

  • Provides monthly financial reports to the Executive Director and the Governing Board
  • Performs office duties such as:
  • Answer telephones and emails
  • Handles correspondence and mailings
  • Filing and maintaining forms and records
  • Maintains office inventory
  • General bookkeeping: bill paying, and payroll processing using QuickBooks
  • Organizes financial status reports for grants

Required Qualifications

  • Prefer Bachelor’s Degree (will consider H.S. degree with equivalent work/life experience)
  • Minimum two years involvement in the Deaf Community (paid or volunteer)
  • Fluency in American Sign Language and Knowledge of Deaf Culture
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and QuickBooks
  • Experience with grant management and budgeting
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good bilingual skills
  • Must pass a criminal background check

SALARY

  • Competitive salary based on skills and experience
  • BENEFITS: Generous salary (Health and Dental Insurance are included)
  • FULL-TIME: 30-40 hours/week, also open to part-time (different benefit package)
